Never just one bad employee

You can’t have just one bad employee. There are always at least two: the poor worker and a supervisor who keeps/him/her there. Whenever you find a persistently under-performing, disengaged, or disgruntled employee you will find an inattentive or ineffective manager unwilling to do what needs to be done to assure excellence. – Michael Josephson
